Winter Holiday Card Guidelines
This year we will once again choose our winter holiday card design from entries created by students on all three campuses.* Our judges will choose the artwork they feel best expresses how our diverse Moravian Academy family enjoys the winter holiday season.

*This is totally voluntary, but if you would like a chance to have your artwork professionally printed and distributed to our Moravian Academy community, this is your opportunity!

Directions: Design a bright, joyful image that reflects our diverse community and the many traditions we celebrate. Winning Winter Holiday Card designs connect with a variety of religious traditions, themes in nature, our school community values, and the spirit of the season.

Above are examples of past winning and submitted holiday card and Vespers program cover designs.

Vespers Program (Historic Downtown and Merle-Smith)

We will select two pieces of artwork for Vespers, one for the cover of the Lower School Vespers program, created by a Lower School student on the Historic Downtown Campus, and one for the Evening Vespers program, created by a Middle School student on the Historic Downtown Campus or an Upper School student on the Merle-Smith Campus.

All holiday card submissions from MSC/HDC students will also automatically be considered for the Vespers program. However, if you would like to design your art with the Vespers program in mind, please follow the guidelines below:

Directions: Design a thoughtful, creative image that reflects the beloved tradition of Vespers. Cover artwork will be printed 5x7 in., should be designed vertically, and can be in color. Your art should not contain any text. Great images and themes for Vespers include candles, Moravian stars, evergreen, music, peace, joy, hope, and love.
