Fifth-Grade Coat Drive Collects Warm Gear for Community

December 12, 2019

As a community service project each year, our fifth-graders collect warm clothing items to donate to local organizations who serve those in need.

This year, our donations will be going to Pinebrook Family Answers in Allentown. Altogether, students collected roughly:

  • 40 adult-sized coats
  • 50 children's-sized coats
  • 25 sweaters/fleeces
  • 20 pairs of boots/shoes
  • 5 vests
  • 10 warm shirts
  • 15 pairs of gloves/mittens
  • 35 hats
  • 4 pairs of snow pants
  • 30 scarves

We are delighted to be able to share warm items as the temperatures are plunging. Thank you to all our generous families who contributed to this important project!
