What we're curious about
Our fifth graders have been studying World War II and the key role that Americans played on the homefront to support the Allies' war effort. The students reviewed historic posters that were widely used to encourage Americans to do their civic duties at home. Recycling, rationing, planting victory gardens, and other actions were critical to supporting American troops.
As a community service project each year, our fifth-graders collect warm clothing items to donate to local organizations who serve those in need.
As the leaders of the Lower School, fifth-graders presented an assembly for first through fourth-graders last week. They focused on two important topics: lunchroom etiquette and school uniform protocol.
