Anatomy and Physiology Creates Yearbook for Glands

April 27, 2020

As part of our study of the endocrine system, my Anatomy and Physiology students were challenged with creating an informative and creative senior yearbook page for a type of gland in the body.

For their chosen gland, students were required to include the following in their one-page submissions:

  • the gland's class photo;
  • the gland's favorite song or quote (or both);
  • an 'About Me' section for their gland;
  • completed phrases about their gland (You might be surprised to know that..., One thing I can't live without..., One word that sums me up...); and
  • a superlative about their gland.

As you can tell from the criteria, humor was definitely encouraged with this project. The students presented their yearbook pages to the class by each sharing their screen during our Zoom class meeting.
