It’s playoff time for basketball!

But before turning our attention to the hardwood, we will take some time to recognize our senior swimmers and their families this afternoon.  The boys' and girls' teams will host Saucon Valley for the meet and the senior presentation will take place during the meet break.

The teams have continued to be successful as the boys earned a tough road win by defeating Whitehall High School with an 88-22 score. The girls lost a close meet also to Whitehall by an 89-81.  Their final regular season competition will take place on Tuesday, February 11th, as the teams welcome Schuylkill Haven.  The swimmers will then shift their focus to the District XI competitions.

Our Varsity Girls’ Basketball team will kick off the winter playoff season as they will host Wilson High School in the quarter-final round of the Colonial League playoffs.  The game will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 12:45 pm in the Athletic and Wellness Center. Admission to the game is $3 for students and $6 for adults.

As we look to finish our winter season on a positive note and look forward to our spring season, our programs continue to thrive with multi-sport athletes. Here is a link to an interesting article published in the National Federation of High Schools Magazine.

Good luck to all of the athletes as they continue the winter season! Please stay up to date with our teams by following them on the moravianathletics.org site.
