Each year, our fourth and fifth-grade students participate in National Geographic’s GeoBee, a nationwide competition that requires students (Grades 4-8) across the country to answer challenging questions about U.S. and world geography.
As part of the Spanish shopping unit, seventh-grade students have been studying vocabulary and grammar about food and shopping these first weeks back from winter break.
The fifth-grade field trip to the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration was a fun culmination to their weeks of studying The Gilded Age, immigration past and present, and child labor.
