Chinese IV Celebrates the Moon Festival

September 10, 2022, was the Moon Festival (中秋節). It's observed by millions of people in East Asia and around the world, including at Moravian Academy!

Students in Chinese IV celebrated this holiday, also known as The Mid-Autumn Festival, by making mooncake and enjoying it in class on Friday, September 9.

They also learned about traditions and legends associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival, which takes place on 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, while enjoying their delicious mooncake!
