For leading Moravian Academy to a District 11 Class 2A title and an appearance in Hershey with a win in the first round of the state tournament, Coach Rick Brown has been named the 2019 lehighvalleylive Girls Tennis Coach of the Year.

“I wouldn’t want to be coaching anywhere else in the area. (It was) just a good group of kids and a good group of parents that were very supportive,” Brown said. “It’s not me; it takes more than just me. It’s the players; it’s the parents; it’s the athletic director; and it’s just the whole system. It’s a very good culture at Moravian Academy.”
