In celebration of Swain faculty and staff, each student in preschool to fifth grade will be bringing home a gallon plastic bag with five note cards and envelopes to write notes of appreciation on for faculty and staff members. 

(Please note: Grades 6-8 will be completing their cards at school during their class meeting times.) These cards, which will go home Wednesday, February 2, in your child's backpack, are part of the February Teacher Appreciation gift which will be presented to faculty and staff on Monday, February 14 in a canvas tote screen printed with “Mucho Mucho Amor” generously donated by Edith Gutierrez-Hawbaker, Founder & Creative Director, Te Lo Juro Collective and parent of Swain fourth grader.

• Please have your student fill out these five cards for faculty and staff members. Note: The faculty or staff member’s name MUST be clearly written on the front of the envelope.  A complete list of  Swain faculty and staff can be found HERE.

• Place the labeled cards back in the bag.

• Students must return the bagged cards to Monica Torres (located in the main office) no later than February 9.
