Lower School Social Contract

September 26, 2019

Each homeroom in the Lower School created a social contract regarding expectations in their individual classrooms. We then gathered representatives from each homeroom to get together and using the individual homeroom contracts, created one social contract for the whole Lower School.

The Lower School Social Contract applies to each classroom as well as how we treat one another in shared spaces such as the dining room and recess, during time together at music, physical education, library, or art classes.

The contract reads:

Be Respectful to Others and the Building/Respetar a Los Demás y Cuidar los Edificios de la Escuela

Be Mindful of Other People’s Feelings/Ser Consciente de los Sentimientos Ajenos

Help Others/Ayudar a los Demás

MYOB: Mind Your Own Bubble (Personal Space)/Respetar el Espacio Personal de Cada Uno

Tell the Truth/Decir la Verdad

Be Your Best Self/Dar lo Mejor de Sí Mismo
