On Wednesday, September 7, 2022 middle school athletes from the Downtown and Swain Campus' joined forces to compete in the first Cross Country PIAA meet of the season. 

With the support of the Merle-Smith team cheering them on and their coaches Ms. Gerber, Mr. Sauers, and Ms. Manning, eighteen Moravian Academy middle school runners competed in their first PIAA meet of the season. 

The competition was strong but so were the Moravian Academy runners, completing the competition with five runners finishing in the top 15! Congratulations to Jack Garrity 28', Aaron Kraus '28, Leland Naylor '27, Lily Razavi '27, and Maddie Yang '27 for their 2nd, 4th, 6th, 14th, and 15th place finishes!

The outlook for the season is positive with a solid group of experienced runners and new batch of athletes with huge potential!
