Moravian Academy Upper School Speech and Debate members competed virtually at the Allentown Diocese Forensic League (ADFL) National Qualifiers Tournament on February 28th, vying for spots at the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) Grand Nationals tournament. 

Neha Skandan ‘21 placed 2nd in Lincoln Douglas debate and Ginny Toso ‘24 placed 5th in Declamation. Both Neha and Ginny qualified for the NCFL Grand Nationals tournament, which will take place virtually over Memorial Day weekend.

In addition, the Moravian Academy Speech and Debate team placed 2nd overall in regional sweepstakes. Team members who represented MA at ADFL National Qualifiers included Neha Skandan ‘21, Nabeel Rifai ‘23, Michael Alchaer ‘23, Okezue Bell ‘23, Wisdom Ufondu ‘23, and Ginny Toso ‘24.
