Priority Testing through St. Luke's

St. Luke’s is offering all students and employees who attend class or work in-person, and have symptoms associated with COVID, access to expedited medical evaluations and priority processing of COVID testing.

Through this priority testing system, turnaround times generally average less than 48 hours from the time of specimen collection. This is about 48 hours faster than routine testing offered at other labs. Individual test result times may vary depending on lab volume and national COVID activity.

  • This service is an optional benefit for students provided by St. Luke’s. This is not a testing requirement through the school.
  • This service is for school employees and students only. Family members not associated with Moravian Academy are not permitted to use this service.
  • This service is for those who are working and learning on campus, not virtually.
  • As with any medical visit or testing, you should contact your insurance carrier to verify that St. Luke’s is in-network to alleviate any potential out-of-network costs.
  • Students & employees with COVID-related symptoms who have an existing St. Luke’s or Star Wellness primary care provider should contact their provider’s office first. The provider will do a video evaluation and determine if testing is necessary. Alert your provider regarding your association with Moravian Academy.
  • Students & employees with COVID-related symptoms who do NOT have an existing St. Luke’s or Star Wellness primary care provider should call the St. Luke’s COVID hotline.
  • Hotline: 1-866-STLUKES (1-866-785-8537). 
  • Press option 7 to be evaluated over the phone by a trained nursing professional to see if further evaluation or testing is indicated. Alert the nursing professional regarding your association with Moravian Academy.
