The Moravian Academy Quiz Bowl team traveled to Philadelphia on Saturday, November 9 to compete in the Philly Fall tournament.

Okezue Bell ’23, Rohan Mehta ’23, Maclaine Oskin ’21, Audrey Dai ’21, and myself all competed as C-team and finished third in the novice league with a 6-2 record, forcing a play-off round with their exciting win in the last round over the 1st place contenders. Congratulations to Rohan for placing 4th in his league in points earned per game among 100 individuals!

Alex Adams ’20 (*), Angela Chen ’21, Samit Mohapatra ’22, and Divik Verma ’22 competed as A-team in an advanced league and finished with an impressive 4-6 record. Emily Alchaer ’21, Grace Sanborn ’21, Dedee Hoffman ’21 (*), and Yiyi Chen ’22, competed as B-team and they also competed in an advanced league and finished with a record of 4-6. Overall, with the help and guidance of Mrs. Manlove, all teams worked hard and were able to do very well in the competition.
