During December Helene Perrucci-Kinsman, Swain’s School Counselor, started joining our sixth, seventh, and eighth grade friends during their R & R time.  

R & R time is time that is set aside for these students to rest and reset during their busy schedules, get a jump start on work, or seek additional academic assistance from their teachers. 

Now, these students will also have the opportunity to join Ms. Helene to learn about self-regulation strategies, conflict resolution, navigating friendships & relationships, managing anxiety & stress, self-esteem, and many other topics related to social and emotional growth.
