Second Grade ventured back in time to discover life in the 1800's at Quiet Valley Historical Farm.

We learned about simple machines used on the farm to make work easier. We played games that children would play with the little freetime they had. The favorite of Second Grade was discovering the "luxuries" of an 1800's farm house as they toured the kitchen and bedroom areas. Lastly, we were able to pet animals and enjoy the fresh farm air.
