Every year, the runners in Girls on The Run do a community impact project. They have collaborated and compromised to come up with ideas on how they can make their community a better place. This year, they came up with the idea to donate items for the cats and kittens at the Sanctuary at Haafsville.

The Sanctuary at Haafsville has saved over 12,000 animals and placed them in their forever homes. The Sanctuary at Haafsville accepts donations to help the animals stay healthy and comfortable. Some items that Girls on the Run is accepting include:

• Food
• Toys
• Water or food bowls
• Beds
• Blankets/ Towels
• Litter box, cat litter, and litter box scoopers

If you would like to donate any of these items, you may bring them to Ms. Harding’s or Miss Rubart’s classroom.
