The first month has been a busy time for advisory groups at the Middle School. Advisory is a “home” for students, where they can feel supported both by peers and a faculty advocate. One month into the new school year, advisory personalities and connections have definitely begun to form.
A new Upper School Social Contract was ratified Thursday after each advisory sent a delegate to a constitutional convention to negotiate terms.
Each homeroom in the Lower School created a social contract regarding expectations in their individual classrooms. We then gathered representatives from each homeroom to get together and using the individual homeroom contracts, created one social contract for the whole Lower School.
