On Thursday, January 6, the Post-SIP fifth- and sixth-grade classes had the opportunity to listen to Sr. Alex Manuel Mendoza-Viruet talk to them about El Día de los Reyes.
In the 6th-grade post-Spanish Immersion humanities class, we have been learning about the culture and people of Spain and many of its traditions. One very similar one to our Moravian Putz is the Belén that many families put up in their houses or can visit at churches.
During the month of December, first graders learn about different holidays and traditions from around the world. This time of the year is filled with magic and hope.
