The Lower School Players Proudly Present Frozen Jr.
The Downtown Campus Lower School Players brought Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life on stage in their production of Frozen Jr.
In a series of shows, the cast performed in Dyer Auditorium for the students of the Merle-Smith Campus (recording below), at the Downtown Campus for Extended Care learners and again for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and finally for their families and friends. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film plus five new songs from the hit Broadway musical!
In addition to our talented performers, second- through fifth-graders in Mr. Elstein's Sets and Props After School Explorations program that ran in the fall helped to create the impressive set! Mr. Elstein says:
"We created the hand-drawn, colored, and painted sets that were projected behind our Lower School Players for this year's production of Frozen Jr. Several sets were animated using the Stop Motion method and props were created using a variety of different mixed media techniques. The student artists involved in the program were: Raina Soreth-Harman '31, Emilia Clark '32, Asia Corsini '33, Daphne Vavyloni '31, Yago Davies '32, Grace Gulati '31, Audrey Zumba '30, Callie Roeder '33 , and Guytano Stevens '30."
