The Lions had some great performances this week!

Our Varsity golf program set the stage as they secured their 6th consecutive Colonial League Golf title! They defeated the rest of their opponents at Monday’s Championships played at Bethlehem Township Municipal Golf course by a 14-stroke margin.   Congratulations also to Grace Sanborn '21 who won the individual female golf title earned the gold medal for the second consecutive year! Tom Smith '20 and Keeler Nichols '20 both earned bronze medals. The team will now shift their focus to the District Championships.

September 27 Athletic Update (Golf)

The girls’ varsity tennis team finished the regular season with an 11-2 record. The team posted two impressive victories defeating Parkland High School by a 4-3 score and then Notre Dame of Green Pond 5-0. The girls competed extremely well in the Colonial League Tennis Tournament losing to Southern Lehigh by one point. However, the girls should be proud of their accomplishments after earning 2 golds at 1st and 2nd doubles and 2 silver medals at 1st and 3rd singles.

September 27 Athletic Update (Girls' Tennis)

Good luck to the girls as they prepare for the District tournament competitions!

The boys’ varsity soccer overall record is currently 11-1 after posting three strong performances during this past week. The team made a statement to the rest of the Colonial League as they defeated previously unbeaten Saucon Valley by a score of 2-1.

The team looks to close out the busy week today as they travel to Wilson for a Friday afternoon affair. Congratulations to Austin Recinos '20, who was awarded Colonial League Star of the Week!

The girls’ varsity field hockey team bounced back quickly after losing to rival Southern Lehigh by a score of 1-0. The girls defeated Northwestern Lehigh and Pen Argyl and will look to finish the week on a high note as they face Saucon Valley at home.

The boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams have identical records with both teams sitting at 8-10. As they head into the final stretch of the regular season, the teams will look to finish on some strong performances in order to prepare for the Colonial League Championship meet. The meet is set to take place on Wednesday, October 16th at DeSales University.

The girls’ varsity soccer team experienced an exciting win this week as they defeated Bangor High School in overtime by a score of 2-1. The victory places them a step closer to qualifying for the League playoffs. The team will close out the week by hosting non-league opponent, Schuylkill Haven for a Saturday 10 am kickoff.
