Abe Atiyeh '20 scored his 1,000th career point on Saturday, January 25th at an away game against Wilson High School in Colonial League East Division play.

As Lehigh Valley Live reports, Abe is the eighth 1,000-point scorer in the history of the Moravian Academy program and had to register 403 points during his senior season to reach the milestone.

“Not playing much my freshman year and doing this over three years means a lot to me,” said Abe.

Said Coach Steve Gabryluk, “I can't say enough about the kid's effort, dedication and commitment to the game. He really deserves this, especially playing in the shadow of (Lions all-time leading scorer) Jordan Holmqvist the last two years. Jordan was our key scorer and handled most of the possessions ... we're giving Abe the same green light.”
