In Art & Design, art kits make safe art-ing and creativity possible and portable this year!

In the photos above, the students pictured drew squiggle monsters, three layered skeleton drawings, and traditional "blind contour" drawings of: a breakfast of eggs bacon with silverware and coffee, a mermaid, a giraffe with spots, and the Statue of Liberty. Zander Ritchey '24 even covered his full face with mask during our blind contour drawing assignment. These drawing exercises are all taken from comic Lynda Barry's book Making Comics. We are practicing in preparation for creating little miniature zines as our October art assignment.
