What we're curious about
To complete their world religion unit, fifth grade students on the Swain Campus had the pleasure of learning about Hinduism from Swati Bhatnagar, mother of Malika Varma '30.
After studying Mesopotamia and the development of Southwest Asia, Swain fifth grade had the opportunity to practice writing their names in cuneiform (the first known system of writing).
Each month, our 5th-grade friends read a new book, complete a book project, and present to their class. The goal is not only to introduce our students to different literature genres, but to develop their public speaking competencies.
