The Swain Campus re-established a Student Council. In this elective, motivated 6th-8th grade students learn how to be leaders and representatives of the middle school student body.

The student council elected their leadership structure by running elections for the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer positions.

The following students were elected into leadership positions for the 2022-2023 school year:

• President: Sophia Hanna
• Vice President: Henry Sprague
• Secretary: Lauren Fleshman
• Treasurer: Lorelei Rocchio

The Swain Student Council will focus on initiatives to support the Middle School and will focus on issues such as cultural representation in our cafeteria menu and the dress code. In addition, the student council will present at Middle School Town Meetings about Women's History Month and create a fundraising campaign for future community service projects!
