Shakespeare Unit Culminates with Pop-Up Performances
On Halloween, our seventh-graders presented Macbeth by 'popping-up' (in flash mob-style) throughout the day in classrooms, offices, and cafeterias at both the Lower and Middle School.
Let's celebrate all of the seventh-grade students for everything that they did to prepare and present Shakespeare's work. The thrill and terror of performing live, especially with little to no acting experience and only five days to prepare, can be intimidating and stressful, to say the least. Nevertheless, our seventh-grade students faced their fears, collaborated beautifully with one another, and expressed themselves creatively and passionately.
Thanks to everyone for welcoming us into your classrooms and workspaces. We hope you enjoyed our performances.
See you next year!
