Moravian Academy Competes at PJAS Regionals 2024

Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) held its Region 3 event on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Northampton Community College. Students presented their independent STEM projects to judges who scored their projects. We are so proud of the accomplishments of all of our students! Students earning first and perfect score awards are invited to present their projects at the state level at Penn State - Main Campus in May.

Students Make Their Mark at DECA at SCDC 2024

The Moravian Academy Chapter of DECA attended the State Conference in Hershey, PA on Feb. 21-23. We had 59 students representing our school in a wide variety of categories ranging from financial literacy events to robust start up business plans, franchise business plans, and independent marketing campaigns.

Fifteen brave Lower School students and three ambitious Middle School students have chosen to participate in the 2020 K’Nex Challenge. Divided into teams, our students have brainstormed, formulated, and are building a K’Nex machine designed to conserve energy, reduce air and water pollution, lower our electricity consumption, and create a healthier planet.

The debate team strongly concluded the regular season, competing and placing in the last league tournament at North Schuylkill High School on Saturday, February 8th in Ashland, PA. After competing in multiple rounds throughout the day, students have continued to uphold the unprecedented success of the debate team.
