What we're curious about
This week in the Spanish Immersion Kindergarten classroom, we learned about the ocean. Since I'm a scuba diver, I brought in my gear and showed them the basic signals used when diving and when identifying animals underwater. We then "went for a dive" and signaled the different animals we saw using pictures I took on past ocean explorations.
Fifth and sixth-grade students in the post-Spanish Immersion (PSI) humanities program learned about the process and steps of design thinking while using their Spanish language skills.
This spring, fourth-grade Spanish Immersion Program students took a page from the book of the International Voices authors at Lehigh University as a culmination of a year of dedication to language arts and creativity in their Spanish work.
