In light of the uncertainty and stresses that come with a pandemic and being quarantined for over two months now, I decided to set aside what I would normally assign for homework this past cycle and instead make a conscious effort to focus on la santé mentale (the mental health) of my students.
My Upper School Latin American Food class explores the geography of Latin American and the various types of cuisine within it. About once per week, students get to try something new in class, whether it be Maria cookies, Malta, or traditional tropical fruit juices.
We are excited to announce an opportunity for students to work with Dream Volunteers on a service-learning trip in Costa Rica from July 7th-15th, 2020. This trip is open to all current Grade 9 - 11 students at the Upper School.
